On the morning of May 7th, Foreign Affair Director Atlas Hsie from State University of New York ( SUNY) Polytechnic Institute paid a visit to HUAS with the delegation. HUAS Vice President Guo Guoqiang met the guests at Room B704 in Yifu Building. They had a friendly conversation with each other on the topic of school-to-school cooperation. HUAS International Exchange Department Director Huang Fangyi hosted the meeting and relevant staff from Chemistry and Material College, Computer Science and Technology College, Civil Engineering College, Electric Engineering and Information College, and International Exchange Department attended the meeting.
Vice President Guo Guoqiang gave a warm welcome speech and introduced the progress HUAS had made in terms of cooperating with universities overseas. He hoped SUNY Polytechnic Institute and HUAS would cooperate well with each other in the field of co-schooling, teachers and students exchanging, scientific cooperation, and co-lab establishment.
Prof. Atlas Hsie expressed his gratitude towards the warm reception and hospitality that Mr. Guo have shown. He introduced something about the scientific research and school facilities in SUNY Polytechnic Institute and expressed the strong desire to cooperate with HUAS in the area of co-schooling. The delegation would also communicate with the relevant staff from other colleges on certain issues in detail.
