On September 13, Korea Keimyung University delegation visited HUAS. Vice President Yao Chunmei introduced HUAS to the guests. Deans of Fine Art College, College of Economics and Management, College of Mechanical Engineering, College of Physical Education, and International College attended the meeting chaired by Hu Fangyi, Director of International Exchange Division.
Both sides agreed in the four landmark initiatives: to work together for a better "HUAS-KU Korean Center"; to actively promote the "2 + 2 joint training program" and "exchange student program"; to carry out in-depth cooperation in the disciplines of accounting, machinery, clothing design, and food science and engineering and PE; to apply for no separate legal entity---a Sino-Korean Cooperative Education Institution with the support of Changde Municipal Education Bureau.

Keimyung University (KMU) is a private university in South Korea founded in 1954 by the leaders of the Northern Presbyterian Church of the U.S. as a Christian university. With the motto of "For the Kingdom of Truth, Justice and Love", KMU is composed of five campuses, with over 25,000 students in 25 majors, 68 departments in 11 faculties and 20 colleges, 13 graduate schools, 34 attached and affiliated institutes including Confucius Institute.
